Position : Acquisition Sr. Associate – San Diego, CA
About the Role : The Acquisition Senior Associate is a key member of the ColRich acquisition team, responsible for identifying, analyzing and securing investment opportunities. This role involves sourcing potential acquisitions, conducting market research, financial modeling and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute multifamily real estate transactions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, personable and passionate about multi-family investment & development.
Specific responsibilities include :
Deal Sourcing and Evaluation
- Identify potential multifamily acquisition opportunities through market research, networking and partnerships with brokers and industry contacts.
- Develop strategies for the repositioning of assets through strategic renovations and operation focused initiatives
- Conduct property due diligence, including reviewing rent rolls and leasing reports, operating reports, comparable sales, building code and zoning regulations, property condition assessments, environmental reports and estimations on replacement & renovation costs
- Monitor local market trends and economic indicators to identify submarkets with growth potential
