Our company is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of electrical projects from estimate to project completion while monitoring compliance with safety and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical/construction processes and the ability to think critically and analyze data in order to make informed decisions. This position is based out of Minot, ND with project based travel.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist project managers in organizing and scheduling project activities, meetings, and milestones.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
- Maintain safety documentation, including safety audits, and daily and monthly safety meetings
- Coordinate communication between project stakeholders, team members, and clients.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
- Monitor project progress and deadlines, providing timely reminders and updates to ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in budget tracking, expense reporting, and invoicing related to projects.
- Support the development and maintenance of project management tools and systems.
- Support a drug free work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative support or project coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Provide a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects as well as familiarity with Apple IOS
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with basic financial and budgetary processes.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
Compensation:
- Salary - $60,000-$80,000/year, DOE
Work Schedule:
- Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5:30 pm.
