Summary

As a Host/Host at Colts Neck Inn Steak House, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed and valued while contributing to the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
• Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support team members during busy periods to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha, is a plus but not required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
