Summary: The Compliance Analyst will be assisting leads in helping to carry out the Compliance Monitoring & Testing reviews that are part of the Bank’s Compliance Program. The analyst under guidance of more tenured compliance staff will conduct reviews of documents, identify compliance and operational issues, while conducting data analysis and reporting of findings. The analyst will participate in meetings with the Consumer and Commercial business lines to document compliance controls and compliance risks which will ultimately feed the Bank’s Compliance Risk and Control Self-Assessment and Risk-Based Compliance Monitoring and Testing Schedule.

- Draft compliance analysis that are supported through primary source material, policies and procedures, and evidence the completion of testing objectives and conclusions are drawn appropriately by the Compliance Lead
- Provide analytical and administrative support to more tenured compliance staff to execute on the Testing and Monitoring Procedures adhere to the approved 3-year Risk based compliance schedule.
- Document business compliance controls observed through Compliance reviews and risks to update and maintain Compliance risk assessments.
- Document responses from Compliance Reviews and monitoring events to generate internal Compliance tracking reports and draft reporting to be presented to the Chief Compliance Officer and ultimately the Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
- Update management and Board-level reporting ensuring key metrics are relevant and current.
- Maintain and monitor the accuracy of data sources that are used to monitor risk that support decision-making.
- Increase Regulatory Knowledge and keep abreast of regulatory changes to understand potential impact of the Bank’s operations.
- Monitor the regulatory environment and develop series of questions to facilitate conversations with the business line.
- Document business line meetings to ensure the Compliance Department’s vision of the business line’s operations are accurate.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, or commensurate experience demonstrating the ability to analyze the federal consumer protection laws.
- 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
