Must be an experienced certified forklift operator. Able to operate the forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting. This position requires you to follow written and verbal job instructions. Being able to provide feedback and apply critical thinking are other keys to this position. Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced forklift traffic, machine noise, and a work environment that will vary depending on the time of year. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensures other employees have everything they need at their workstations throughout the day to perform their job duties.
- Move stacks of pallets in and out of building.
- Assist any other forklift operators when needed.
- Load and unload dry van trailers.
