This position will requires someone who can reliably work Wednesday through Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm.

JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions to include food prep, sanitation duties and dishwashing, as well as delivery of meals to resident dining areas.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform dish washing and cleaning procedures.
- Assist with plating, delivery and serving of meals. Ensure individual trays are prepared according to special instruction as listed on tray cards.
- Deliver trays to Resident dining rooms and return trays and carts to kitchen.
- Operate kitchen equipment; maintain sanitary conditions in all food preparation areas.
- Count and report inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
- Perform dish washing and cleaning procedures.
- Provide cheerful customer service for all residents, family members and coworkers.
PREREQUISITES:
- Able to communicate effectively in oral and written form in the English language.
- Valid Washington State food handlers permit
- Skilled in interpersonal relationships
- Ability and willingness to work with a diverse population
Must pass a background check.
