HR Generalist

Columbia River Home Health is a Medicare-certified agency providing life-changing services in the Tri-Cities, Prosser, and Walla Walla area. We are seeking an experienced, full-time HR Generalist.

What do we require of you?

• Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Possess a working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law
• Expertise with Workday is strongly preferred
• Experience with complex payroll is a must
• Ability to multi-task and stay on task in a fast-paced office
• Bachelor's degree in HR Management or Business preferred, but not required
• SHRM-CP or PHR preferred, but not required
• 2 year's applicable experience required

Key responsibilities:

• Perform robust employee onboarding, orientation, mentoring, & engagement duties
• Ensures staff files, renewables, & annual evaluations are accurate & up to date
• Interface with contract, clinical, and office staff and community partners.
• Take charge of complex and diverse payroll functions
• Have familiarity with recruiting, especially for healthcare roles
• Focus on collaboration & positive working relationships with all parties
• Manage and give direction on PIP and other disciplinary actions
• Assist staff with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
• Collaborate with recruiter & hiring managers to ensure optimum candidate experience
• Carry out reference checks and verifications of employment status
• Oversee all benefits administration and payroll activities
• Collaborate with and assist sales and marketing staff with strategic goals
• Ensure smooth and timely office operations and workflow
