Riverside Restaurant, located at the scenic Best Western Plus Hood River Inn, is currently seeking a Pantry Worker to support our Food & Beverage Department! Our team is known for its commitment to fresh, locally inspired cuisine, excellent service, and stunning views of the Columbia River.
As a Pantry Worker, you’ll play a crucial behind-the-scenes role in food preparation, ensuring our salad bar and banquet offerings meet the highest standards of freshness, flavor, and presentation.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare fresh and appealing salad bar items
- Ensure garnishes and condiments are replenished and kept fresh
- Store and refrigerate items appropriately to maintain food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
- Support banquet food prep and assist with dishwashing and cleaning as needed
- Take on other kitchen duties as assigned by the Sous Chef(s) or Food Services Director

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Must be 18 & over
- Some experience in food preparation within a restaurant, kitchen, or dining environment and possess basic knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen operations, and the tools and equipment used in food preparation
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must hold a valid food handler’s permit (or obtain one before starting)
