Director of Quality - Manufacturing

Decades old U.S. publicly-traded manufacturer needs a Director of Quality. In this role, you will:
- Own Quality for a site that works a 4/10 schedule and produces 1 million non-lethal finished goods per year across several SKUs for all branches of the US military and NATO countries;
- Manage at team of 3 direct reports (Quality Manager, Quality Systems Auditing Lead, Configuration Management Lead) and 22-25 indirect reports (4 Quality Engineers, Incoming Inspection, Production / Process Inspectors);
- Use data to get to root cause thereby freeing the organization to build and deliver more of these mission critical, life saving products;
- Achieve ISO9001 re-certification
Requirements:
- BS (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering)
- 10 year of ISO9001 Quality Systems and Quality organization leadership experience
- Implemented Statistical Process Control
- Proficiency with Process Capability studies
- Track record of accomplishments
- Hands-on
- "Can do" attitude
