The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quality systems leadership, with a proven track record of achieving ISO 9001 certification and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the quality function for a site with a 4/10 schedule, producing over 1 million non-lethal finished goods annually.
- Lead a team of 3 direct reports and 22-25 indirect reports, comprising Quality Engineers, Incoming Inspection, and Production/Process Inspectors.
- Utilize data analytics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, freeing the organization to focus on producing critical products.
- Achieve and maintain ISO 9001 certification through effective quality systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality systems leadership and quality organization management.
- Proven expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability studies.
- Track record of accomplishments in quality improvement initiatives.
- Hands-on approach with a 'can-do' attitude and proficiency in leading cross-functional teams.
- US citizenship is required.
