About the Role
Columbia Search Partners, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Director of Quality to oversee quality operations at one of our manufacturing sites. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the quality function for a site that operates on a 4/10 schedule, producing over 1 million non-lethal finished goods per year for various military branches and NATO countries.
- Lead a team of 3 direct reports and 22-25 indirect reports, including Quality Engineers, Inspection personnel, and other quality-related staff.
- Analyze data to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Achieve and maintain ISO9001 certification through effective quality management systems and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ISO9001 quality systems leadership, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of implementing Statistical Process Control and Process Capability studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- US citizenship is required.
