Position Summary:
Columbine Country Club seeks qualified candidates for a Food and Beverage Manager position. This role complements the food and beverage service operations. Responsible for upholding quality standards in Member/guest service in a la carte dining. Responsible for the management of food and beverage operations and staff. Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality, and service in personnel, as well as cleanliness of dining rooms. Supervise and coach dining room staff. Oversee all alcoholic beverage purchasing, $150k beverage inventory and extensive wine program—opportunity for a career-oriented Country Club Manager trajectory.
Requirements
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, including pre- and post-shift responsibilities, set up protocols, service standards, etc.
- Responsible for all alcoholic beverage purchases, inventory, and an extensive Wine program. Wine enthusiast and above-average wine knowledge required.
- Acquires feedback, concerns, and comments from members, guests, and coworkers, appropriately communicating amongst the team to develop solutions effectively, ensure satisfaction, and implement service improvement ideas and concepts.
- Assist and support all Food and Beverage outlets, including Ala Carte Dining, Club Events, Banquets, Pool Café, MLR, and Golf Course Snack Shack.
- Trains and manages service staff in all technical (service) and non-technical (hospitality) aspects of their role.
- Wine Certifications, such as WSET, SWE, or CMS, are highly recommended. Club-sponsored certifications are provided as ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Engaging personality with excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with Members and Guests.
- Prior supervisory experience in food and beverage operations and a solid understanding of customer service principles, food service, and banquet operations are encouraged.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Salary Range: $75 - $80K annually, based on experience and certifications. A Typical 5-day work week includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
