- Airfield Operations – Observe the daily airfield inspections, wildlife management, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination that keep aircraft and passengers moving safely.
- Facilities Maintenance – Get hands-on exposure to airport infrastructure, maintenance procedures, and the critical work that ensures the airport operates efficiently.

- Marketing – Assist in social media management, content creation, public relations, and promotional events that enhance the airport’s presence in the community.
- Administration – Shadow leadership and learn how policies, strategic planning, and airport management decisions shape daily operations.
During the 7th week there will be a department rotation each day and you will spend one day in each of the following areas:
- Finance – Learn about budgeting, revenue streams, and financial management in airport operations.
- FAA (Air Traffic Control) – Spend time in the ATC tower, observing air traffic controllers as they coordinate aircraft movements and communicate with pilots.
- Human Resources (HR) – Gain an understanding of employee relations, recruitment, and workplace policies in an airport environment.
