This position provides customer service and staff supervision of Civic Center box office operations.
- Sells tickets to Civic Center events.
- Perform head ticket seller duties.
- Opens the box office for business at appropriate times during the week and weekends.
- Assist promoters and clients with show and event information.
- Answers customer questions concerning seating and ticket pricing.
- Assist in training all box office event staff.
- Balances all ticket sellers' cash drawers at the end of the day and on event days; counts, verifies, and straps all monies to be deposited.
- On rotation as the box office supervisor on duty during events.
- Supervises event staff including ticket takers and ticket sellers; handles questions and makes changes for ticket sellers.
- Pulls complimentary or consignment tickets for clients.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of Civic Center ticketing operations.
- Knowledge of Civic Center seating arrangements.
