This position is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) benefits.
- Coordinates, administer, and monitors Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) benefits, prepare documents, maintain records, corresponds with employees and supervisors and maintains contact throughout the process to ensure that procedures are followed and legally required notices are sent out.
- Coordinates and administers the random drug-testing program.
- Audit death pension benefits.
- Process pension refunds.
- Reconciles and validate monthly billings for pre-employment, random drug and post-accident testing and verify the accuracy of invoices.
- Processes HR payroll; calculates and prepares biweekly payroll; enters appropriate data into the payroll/timekeeping computer file system for final processing.
- Pays all HR bills through the Advantage System.
- Provides front desk assistance as needed.
- Provides administrative staff support; answers the telephone and directs calls as necessary.
- Performs customer service and administrative tasks as needed.
- Receives, processes, and distributes department mail.
- Maintains and expands job knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Provide notary public service as needed.
- Process employee Separation Notices and COBRA Letters.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of department policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of office administration practices and procedures such as letter writing and the operation of standard office equipment.
