This position is responsible for filing legal paperwork for the department.Answers a multi-telephone system - answers questions, screens calls, takes messages and directs callers to the appropriate personnel or division.Greets visitors and walk-in customers.Answers questions or directs visitors to appropriate personnel.Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail.Files and retrieves documents, forms, and paperwork.Types memomorandums, letters, charts, labels, reports, and other correspondence.Performs general clerical functions including copying, faxing, and shredding.Performs other related duties as assigned.

The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table. The employee must occasionally lift light objects.
