- Manage and maintain patient medical records in a secure and organized manner
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all medical records according to company and regulatory standards
- Process and respond to requests for medical records from healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
- Abstract and code medical information for proper billing and reimbursement
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with privacy and security regulations
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners regarding medical records requests and updates
- Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards related to medical records management
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information at all times
