Job Summary :
To greet guests as they arrive and set the tone for their experience when entering our restaurant. They should be greeted with a warm and friendly demeanor. Milkshake cashiers should be knowledgeable in milkshakes and ice cream items when speaking with guests.
Essential Functions :
- Welcome and greet guests.
- Make traditional and signature milkshakes, sundaes, and floats.
- Recommend milkshakes, sundae bar, and daily ice cream flavors.
- Take to-go orders.
- Ensure the 1950's Corvette Car sundae bar topping station is always clean and stocked.
- Payments are immediately entered into the micros system.
- Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Maintain a clean and stocked milkshake shop for guest use.
- Responsibilities also include filing orders, receiving money, and carrying out suggestive selling while managing all cash issued and received during the shift.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Thank the guests for their visit and invite them to return.
