What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stewarding Supervisor position at Columbus Hospitality Management?
Primary Responsibilities :
- Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas to include : walk-in coolers, floors, walls, rolling equipment, small wares, china, glass and silverware.
- Maintain a steady pace to meet demand for dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, etc.
- Observe careful work habits and conditions in areas of sanitation, safety, breakage, and waste control.
- Responsible for assisting the Steward Manager with the efficient and effective running of the Steward Department.
- Assist in supervising Stewarding team ensuring all assignments and tasks are performed to World Equestrian Center standard and within the timeframe required.
- Responsible for storage, requisitioning of all materials and equipment.
- Taking and calculating of material stock (inventory) as required.
- Reporting to the Steward Manager with all breakages, cleaning supply consumption, etc.
- Maintaining all equipment to a high standard, . : dishwashers, burnishes, etc., and reporting to maintenance any defects.
- Minimize breakage of circulating equipment.
