The Warehouse Manager is responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. Ability to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers while maintaining the standards and quality for property.

Essential Functions
- Purchase equipment, goods and services at the lowest possible price and in correct quantities to maximize profits and maintain standards.
- Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier's reputation and history.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- In conjunction with senior managers, set PAR levels.
- Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.
- Negotiate or renegotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
- Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and in the event of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.
- Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance and inventories.
- Assist with budget preparations to maintain profitable margins/percent.
- Review catalogs, industry periodicals, directories, trade journals and Internet sites and consult with other department personnel to locate necessary goods and services.
- Develop strategic purchasing programs.
- Write and review product specifications, maintaining a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased.
- Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, tracking market conditions, price trends or futures markets.
- Formulate policies and procedures for bid proposals and procurement of goods and services.
- Apply pricing strategies.
- Prepare bid specifications.
- Create purchasing and procurement policies.
- Utilize purchasing systems.
- Oversee inventory management.
- Provides direction and communication to team members regarding operational information and procedural changes.
- Develop team members by providing ongoing feedback.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of staffing needs with trained competent individuals.

- Associates may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to lift, carry and move boxes and items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
