About Your Role :

As the Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and sustainability of the CMC. Your primary focus will be to lead the development and implementation of strategies that generate revenue through membership expansion and the cultivation of strategic partnerships. By building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, corporate partners, and strategic investors, you will be instrumental in advancing the CMC’s mission and expanding its influence within the community and beyond.

Responsibilities :

Business Development & Revenue Generation : Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive revenue growth through membership acquisition, corporate partnerships, and other strategic investments. Lead initiatives to attract new members and investors by identifying potential markets, creating compelling value propositions, and driving membership campaigns.

Strategic Partnerships : Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners, corporate sponsors, and key stakeholders to support CMC’s mission and revenue goals. Identify and secure partnerships that align with CMC’s objectives, negotiating terms that benefit both parties and contribute to long-term growth.

Leadership & Management : Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the development and implementation of CMC’s strategic plan. Support focus on business development and partnerships, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Financial & Operational Oversight : Develop and manage budgets for business development initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact. Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with partners and sponsors, ensuring compliance with CMC’s policies and maximizing value.

Performance Tracking : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation, membership growth, and partnership success. Provide regular reports to the CEO and Board of Directors on the progress of business development efforts.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, strategic partnerships, or a related role, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with organizational goals.

Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and inspiring teams.

Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, revenue forecasting, and contract management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate terms.

Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.

Salary and Benefits :

The Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and expertise starting at $85,000. Additionally, the role includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
