The Columbus REALTORS Director of Development and Community Partnerships will be responsible for overseeing the Columbus REALTORS Foundation operations, ensuring compliance with 501(c)(3) regulations, and developing and maintaining strategic partnerships within the community. The Director will also serve as the lead fundraiser for our bi-partisan Political Action Committee, CORPAC.
This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including board members, donors, community organizations, and volunteers, to advance the association, foundation and PACs mission.
This position will solicit and engage REALTOR members as Foundation & PAC contributors, oversee Foundation programs and assist leadership in the promotion of the REALTOR brand, both within the REALTOR association and externally to local community, government, and nonprofit leaders.
Key Responsibilities :
Foundation Management :
- Oversee daily operations of the foundation, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations for 501(c)(3) organizations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
- Provide association Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees with timely financial / fundraising reports and event evaluation.
- Work with staff and partners to design, implement, and evaluate programs that align with the foundation's goals.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and impact, making recommendations for improvements.
- Serve as the staff liaison for necessary Association, Foundation & PAC committees as directed.
- Handle confidential information with care and discretion.
