Job Title: Grants Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt (Full time, Regular)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM, after hours or weekend work as required
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Grants Manager is responsible for managing the grant process including research, prospect identification, donor outreach and cultivation, preparing and submitting proposals, and writing reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned portfolio of corporate, foundation, and government grants.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with grantors and consult with advancement team to ensure the overall relationship with grantor remains strong.
- Develop overall grant strategy and grant planning process to ensure an appropriate revenue stream from grant funding.
- Research and identify grant opportunities that are resources for CMA fund development.
- Manage grant proposal process to obtain and maximize grant funds.
- Develop compelling grant proposals in collaboration with leadership, cross departments, and advancement team; ensure all application materials, forms, and criteria are prepared in accordance with grant requirements.
- Track, manage, and provide accurate and timely reporting to ensure effective relationships with grantors.
- Analyze grant allocations, giving patterns, and trends to determine grant applicability and best approach to position CMA with grantor.
- Maintain current knowledge of grant requirements and trends.
- Diligently track portfolio activity in donor database.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (desired)
- One or more years in grant management.
- Experience in writing and nonprofit advancement.
- Proven success in securing grants.
