Job Summary
The Executive Assistant to the President plays a critical role in providing administrative and operational support to the President, ensuring smooth execution of the President's day-to-day activities. This position requires a detail-oriented, resourceful individual capable of managing multiple tasks and interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, with a strong ability to manage confidential information and coordinate complex schedules.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Administrative Support: Provides high-level administrative support to the President, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and prioritizing requests. Prepares and edits correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.; Communication Liaison: Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Screens and responds to inquiries, provides information, and ensures timely follow-up.; Meeting Coordination: Organizes and coordinates meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are managed, including travel arrangements, agendas, and documentation.; Strategic Support: Assists in the preparation of presentations and reports for the President's involvement in institutional planning, committees, and external engagements as needed.; Project Management: Supports special projects and initiatives led by the President, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed.; Confidentiality: Handles sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.; Office Operations: Provides oversight and ensures efficient day-to-day functioning of the office.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of executive administrative experience, preferably in higher education or a similar complex organizational setting; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications include: Master's degree from an accredited institution.; Previous experience in higher education or a similar field.
Proposed Salary
The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $58,000 - $60,000 and includes full benefits.
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Executive Assistant exists within this position, with a salary commensurate to the candidate's education and related experience that exceeds the minimum qualifications.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities include: The successful candidate must possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of college/university operations and academic structures is a plus.; The selected candidate must be highly organized, professional, proactive, and able to work independently and as a team.; The incumbent must also possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.

Conditions of Employment
