Responsibilities
Overview
Provide Group Lead support to meet Program requirements. Responsible for technical, financial and administrative management of government and/or commercial project managing task leaders. Typically, responsible for minimum of 10 professionals and $2M revenues. Requires excellent judgment, frequent interaction with program and division management and client contacts.
Responsibilities
Expert in primary field of expertise under direction of the Program Manager, responsible for all components of task order execution for a functional area of a large government services contracts including technical contractual and financial components.
Manages technical leads to ensure that all government performance and delivery requirements are being met.
Manages and/or supervises direct reports and subcontractors providing subject matter expertise in RF communications, antenna engineering, space data standards, space network telecommunication systems, and related engineering fields.
Manages project operation within contractual requirements to assure conformance and support new/follow-on business.
Assures priorities for deliverables, budgets, and technical support are met.
Coordinates with supervisor to ensure profitability goals and timetables are met. Recommends adjustments as necessary.
Maintains close client contact and support.
Maintains all project schedules and status reports for supervisor.
Assists in division proposal development.
Assists in technical consultant and/or teaching role as necessary.
Punctuality and regular attendance
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
BS/BA or equivalent and 8 years applicable experience of which4 are technical and supervisory experience in government and/or commercial contract management. Must be able to work with limited direction. Strong verbal and written communications skills, leadership ability, business judgment, tact, discretion and initiative are required. Punctuality and regular attendance are essential to ensure optimal productivity and customer service. This position requires attendance at weekly meetings with multiple program staff. These interactions are sometimes unscheduled, frequent, and necessary to properly perform this position. Therefore, the individual holding this position must be readily available and accessible at the facility on a daily basis.
