As a Pro Shop Team Member you will enjoy a variety of duties like taking tee times, operating our Point Of Sale, selling range balls, driving golf carts and selling the state of the art golf equipment. As a Golf Team Member you will be responsible for making our guests day at the golf course the greatest golf experience around C-Bus. Availability: Evenings and Weekends OnlyShift Hours: 2:00 PM – CloseAverage Weekly Hours: Approximately 20 hours, with availability through December.
Responsibilities
- Greets customers, answers telephone calls, handles sales transactions for green fees and merchandise sales.
- Responsible for merchandising (e.g. pricing, signage, displays, cleanliness etc.)
- Operate golf course courtesy cart (e.g. stocks cart and transacts sales).
- Maintains cleanliness of Pro Shop (e.g. keeps merchandise neat, orderly and litter free, vacuums, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Posted schedule may be subject to change based on operational needs such as weather condition, guest attendance and department needs.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Retail and cash-handling experience preferred.
- Efficient with computers.
- Outgoing and friendly personality.
- Must have some golf experience and or retail experience.
- Able to perform heavy physical work for extended periods of time required.
- Able to balance multiple assignments successfully required.
- Able to work in varied weather conditions (i.e. extreme heat, rain) required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Able to maintain courteous and helpful behavior required.
- Able to maintain appropriate employee appearance required (see uniform guidelines at each time clock and the employee handbook).
- Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays required.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time.
- This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
