Senior Vice President for Animal Preservation
The Columbus Zoo Family of Parks is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President for Animal Preservation to lead our conservation efforts and drive impactful change.
This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to advance our mission, overseeing key programs, and collaborating with senior leadership, Board members, staff, and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision and operational framework for the CCWC.
- Foster a culture of conservation across the organization.
- Partner with the Philanthropy Department and Board Conservation Committee to expand funding and build relationships with new donors.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in advancing conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- At least ten years in a leadership role within a conservation-related field.
- Strong fiscal management skills and ability to cultivate funding through new donor relationships.
- Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
