The IT Application Specialist plays a vital role in overseeing and maintaining a diverse array of applications on the servers. This position is essential for keeping all applications updated, secure, and fully operational. The IT Application Specialist will manage application updates, monitor performance, and handle the lifecycle of both existing and new applications. Additionally, this role focuses on supporting key business applications and ensuring robust backup and recovery processes to protect data integrity and availability.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain, update, and monitor a variety of server-based applications to ensure they are current, secure, and functional.
Supervise the upgrading of existing applications and oversee the installation of new ones as required.
Track and manage application usage to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance.
Retire outdated or redundant applications to maintain an efficient server environment.
Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
Maintain and manage critical business applications, including but not limited to Enterprise Vault, DataCap, Crystal Reports, 1099, Tracker Pro, and others.
Job Requirements
Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent job experience. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting a variety of applications, with a strong background in application maintenance and lifecycle management.
Proficiency in application management, including updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
