Hampton Inn Lewiston-Auburn, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a dependable, organized and diligent Maintenance Technician / Lobby Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for repairs, troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance relative to the mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems in the hotel. You will also maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel public areas. This position will be 2 AM shifts and 3 PM shifts - Weekends required!

General Responsibilities :
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned locations, including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, basic carpentry, and building systems
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repair
- Plan repair work using blueprints or equipment manuals as needed
- Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician (examples : drywall, painting, doors, locks, building fixtures)
- Perform routine maintenance of building systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance programs, follow established standards and guidelines
- Clean and maintain the appearance of the exterior of hotel including but not limited to sidewalks, awning poles, signage and hotel entrance
- Deep cleaning of assigned areas of hotel including but not limited to shampooing of rooms and public area carpets, window washing, light fixtures and guest elevators.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors
- Remove all trash, dirty linens, towels and room service items from public areas
- Adherence to all Colwen and brand standards
- Work with supervisor to identify and complete all technical projects
- Respond timely to all work orders
- Perform other related duties as assigned
