Com Net, Inc. seeks an experienced Infrastructure Management Specialist to join its team. As a Telecom Facilities Manager, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities and grounds within the organization.
This role involves managing custodians and/or facilities technicians, overseeing building renovations and other projects, assigning staff to complete maintenance work, and obtaining bids from outside contractors.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing a team of staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs
- Ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly, and coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed
- Overseeing renovations and maintenance of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
This role requires strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Additional requirements for this position include:
- Proven experience as a Telecom Facilities Manager or similar role
- Knowledgeable in AC and DC power, generators, and best practices for telecommunications facilities design, fiber optics, and ethernet cable management
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
