Telecom Facilities Manager
This is a key role that oversees the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities and grounds within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs
- Ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning properly, and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed
- Oversee renovations and maintenance of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet the needs of the organization
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Telecom Facilities Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Mastery of AC and DC power, generators, telecommunications facilities design, fiber optics, and ethernet cable management
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
Working Conditions:
Frequent walking, driving, pushing, pulling, and lifting of moderate objects throughout the workday and, in limited cases, heavy objects.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field; or four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
