The scope of duties
Carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair work on offshore wind turbines
Troubleshooting and repairing components such as gearboxes, rotor blades, hydraulic and brake systems
Regular inspections to ensure turbine availability and performance
Replacement and assembly of major components during planned and unplanned shutdowns
Documentation of work and preparation of service reports for quality assurance
Compliance with work safety regulations in accordance with GWO standards and internal guidelines
Working in a team with electricians, engineers and plant managers to optimise plant operation
The profile of requirements
Completed vocational training as an electrican, industrial electrician, mechatronics engineer or comparable qualification
Professional experience in the maintenance of wind turbines, ideally in the offshore sector
GWO certificates (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Sea Survival) are desirable
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, gearboxes and mechanical components
Physical fitness and fitness for heights (G41 examination)
Willingness to work in shifts and for longer offshore assignments
Good knowledge of English (German an advantage) for communication in an international team
Structured way of working, team spirit and a high level of safety awareness
