Combustion & Controls Solution currently has an opening for a Service Coordinator in the Chattanooga office to serve as the primary contact for all field staff for Service, Maintenance, Installation and Repair work performed daily. You will be responsible for ensuring the completion and resolution of all work orders in the company database daily. The successful candidate will provide phone and/or computer-based updates with field personnel, monitor, report, and handle all service calls and installations and take appropriate actions to respond to complaints or questions accordingly.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs.
- Using telephones, cell phones, or text messages to contact employees or customers.
- Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment.
- Preparing daily work such as schedules
- Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews
- Overseeing communications within company assigned territories.
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information.
- Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, or supervisors.

What You Will Need to Bring
- Maintenance of the customer database by making correct and timely entries during and immediately following each customer contact.
- Timely updates of actions and events in the field that may impact customers and/or Call Center Representatives.
- Maintain the scheduling calendar.
- Communicate effectively with customer complaints, additional work orders, work order point allotments.
- Identify and expedite emergencies, reacting quickly under a diverse set of circumstances.
- Provide courteous and helpful assistance to customers and prospective customers by maintaining current knowledge of company's general operating procedures.
- Routing and monitoring work orders to technicians to accommodate customer needs.
- Produce regular reports for pending and completed work.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.
Required Skills and Experience
- Superior telephone skills, organizational skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be high energy, positive attitude and comfortable in team environment.
- At least one year of Call Center/Help Desk experience.
- Previous experience in customer service role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating system.
- One year of experience in dispatch operations, customer service and logistics.
Education
- High school diploma or GED
