What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Tutor - Viola/Violin Job at Comcare (Australian Government) in Viola position at Comcare (Australian Government)?
This ongoing, part-time role (0.6 FTE) is based across our Keysborough, Brighton, and City campuses, with required working days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The position commences on 24 January 2025 or as soon as possible in Term 1.
As a Viola / Violin Tutor, you will play a key role in inspiring students by delivering engaging music lessons aligned with the Music Department Syllabus and supporting the school’s dynamic ensemble program.
Key Responsibilities :
- Teaching and Student Development :
Teach individuals or small groups, employing diverse strategies to foster active learning.
Maintain teaching equipment and spaces, update asset records, arrange repairs, and liaise with the Head of Haileybury Music, Head of Instrument Area, and Music Administrator.
Maintain and enhance skills in music, teaching, and instruments by accessing current teaching methods and curriculum tools.
