This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization and Team Overview
The Comcast Corporate Internal Communications team is responsible for sharing important company information with our 90,000 employees across the country. We communicate across a wide variety of topics, including information on our products and services, upcoming employee initiatives and campaigns, exciting events and promotions, and overall work to keep our employees informed and engaged with Comcast, no matter where they are and what they do. Comcast’s main channels for internal communication include our company intranet ComcastNow, newsletters, signage and graphics, as well as our internal social media platform, Viva Engage.
Role Overview
Co-op will assist with corporate internal communications including employee intranet site, print, videos & digital media, live broadcasts, and other mediums.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Day-to-day maintenance of employee intranet site, including:
Managing multimedia content
Writing, editing, and updating articles
Managing content relevance and substance
Managing employee comments
Work with multiple resources to answer employee e-mail questions
Support and assist employee communicators’ network
Draft employee communications
Work with multiple teams across the company, including senior leadership, to facilitate projects, events, and broadcasts
Help manage internal social media strategy and tactics
Compile and distribute meeting minutes
Compile statistics on intranet web usage
Create visual aids, graphics, brochures and flyer
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Skills
Must be a self-starter and independent worker.
Able to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Able to multi-task and manage priorities as needed.
Able to write well and think creatively.
Submit three (3) writing samples of less than one (1) page each.
Knowledge of Photoshop helpful.
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable and media industries.
Ability to work on a team.
Preferred Majors: Journalism, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Community Affairs, Communications or related field
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
