This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The corporate communications team supports key strategic priorities, including cross-company initiatives that promote Comcast’s brand, reputation, and business objectives. Recent/current examples include the Olympics, Comcast Converge, the company’s annual Year in Review, and the corporate website alignment to reflect connectivity & platforms and content & experiences. The team also oversees executive communications for internal and external engagements, including the annual letter to shareholders, annual proxy letter, year-end leadership meetings, and board relations. Additionally, the team manages communications for the Comcast Center Campus.
Role Description
You’ll support the team in planning and executing strategies that elevate the Comcast brand and corporate reputation among key audiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thinks strategically and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and effectiveness. S/he must be an excellent writer who can meet tight deadlines.

As a co-op on our corporate communications team, you’ll gain exposure to the communications/PR department of a leading Fortune 50 company. You’ll also have opportunities to learn more about other functions across our company, including legal; government affairs; diversity, equity, and inclusion; and community impact, to name a few.

On this team, you will work to create and execute communications strategies that support the company’s overall reputation, including cross-company moments and purpose-driven initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Help develop and execute strategy and special events around key company priorities
Help execute cross-department strategic alignment and coordination
Draft communications materials: press releases, blog posts, email pitches, etc.
Support on signature event planning and execution
Compile targeted media lists/research reporters & bloggers
Track and report media coverage surrounding specific announcements
Support other communications projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
