Who we’re looking for:
This position will be responsible for the bi-weekly internal processing of payroll and related reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- A strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance.
- Ability to process payroll using third-party software for approximately 400 employees. UKG, Ultimate or Kronos experience a plus.
- Handle garnishments and court-ordered child support deductions.
- Maintain personnel records.
- Preparation and understanding of certified payroll a must.
- Complete employment/income verifications and unemployment paperwork.
- Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll.
- Scan and deposit daily cash receipts.
- Other projects and responsibilities as needed.
What you need to have:
- 3 or more years of diverse experience with Payroll REQUIRED.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated efficiency with payroll and accounting software packages.
- Demonstrated basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to adapt to rapid changes/rapid work environment, manage competing demands.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain and facilitate positive employee relationships.
- Recognition and respect for the confidential nature of the work.
- Excellent communication and skills (oral and written).
- Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
