Job Responsibilities
As an Administrator at Comfort Care Companions LLC, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a group home, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support. This role involves managing staff, coordinating services, and maintaining compliance with regulations while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for residents. Key responsibilities include:
· Manage daily operations of the group home, including staff supervision, scheduling, and resource allocation.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with state and federal regulations.
· Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to create a skilled and compassionate caregiving team.
· Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
· Monitor and assess the quality of care provided, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
· Manage budgeting and financial operations, including funding, billing, and expenditures.
· Serve as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
· Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the home, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
· Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by maintaining a clean and secure facility.
· Stay current on industry best practices and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and their families.
- Ability to engage in light physical activities as needed in the facility.
- Capacity to respond to emergencies and assist residents as required.
- Understanding of healthcare practices, including hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a managerial or administrative role, preferably within a group home or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in group home care.
Yearly Pay: $35,104 - $46,021, based on experience.
