Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and check them in efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the resort's amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Manage phone systems to answer calls promptly and assist with reservations or guest requests.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Assist with check-out procedures, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Promote hotel services and upsell additional offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in a front desk role within a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to handle diverse situations gracefully.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
