Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to provide a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine repairing and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed.
• Fabricate components and parts as required for repairs or upgrades.
• Execute some painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
• Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience with painting techniques and materials.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.
