Position: Front Desk Associate
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Preferred qualifications: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR HIGHER-LEVEL EDUCATION
ONE YEAR HOTEL GUEST SERVICE EXPERIENCE AND ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WELL WITH OTHERS
General Responsibilities:
- You must have a working understanding of the Property Management system, be able to make cancel, or change any reservation, be able to check-in or check-out a guest, understand the phone system, document and follow up on guest requests, effectively & professionally communicate with guests and hotel associates.
- Ensure the hotel’s lobby appearance is presentable at all times, be familiar with the hotel’s facilities and offering, and be familiar with the area so you direct the guest on places to see or give directions to a certain location.
Primary Functions:
- Scheduling:
- Responsible for knowing schedules and hours for reporting to work
- Attending and reporting on time for all scheduled shifts, meetings and training scheduled by management. * Profit
- Effectively control and monitor daily supplies to provide minimal costs to the hotel while giving the guests first class service. * Quality
- Facilities; Ensure that the hotel meets/exceeds Choice Brand quality standards. * Guest Service
- Ensure that the hotel meets/ exceeds choice Brand quality standards. * Leadership /Work Ethic
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to choice Standard Operating Procedures.
