We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Agent will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and address guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Answer phone calls promptly, utilizing phone systems to handle inquiries and provide information about hotel services.
- Address guest concerns or complaints effectively, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and hotel are ready for guests.
- Help out around the Hotel as needed.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse guests; but not required.
- Strong skills in guest relations, hospitality management, and effective problem-solving are essential.
- Knowledge of night audit processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
