What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at Comfort Inn & Suites?
We’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor will run night audit reports, make sure all in house guests have been accurately billed, prepare the day for arrivals coming in, etc. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and billing operations running smoothly.
Will work 3 to 4 overnight shifts from 10pm-8am. Must be able to work weekends, and complete daily cleaning tasks. Work Days are Friday-Sunday with every other Monday.
Responsibilities
- Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
- Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
- Reconcile accounts
- Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Help prepare for forecasts and audits
Skills
- Experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry, but not required
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- The ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work overnight
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
