Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the cleaning of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
