We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the hotel property, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the hotel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
