Essential duties and responsibilities of the Comfort Keeper include :
- Companionship
- Personal care (training provided)
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Shopping / Errands
- Quality Care planning (training provided)
Caregiver skills and qualifications
- Empathy and the ability to care for the client's social, emotional, physical and mental health
- Ability to multitask, be flexible and organized Lift 25 lbs
- Proficient in some domestic chores such as preparing meals and cleaning
- Trained in specialized areas of care, for example, dementia or Alzheimer's disease
