What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Nightingales Home Care?
Nightingales Home Care is looking for compassionate, empathetic caregivers to help our aging community in their homes and at facilities. We provide high quality, non-medical and assisted living services.
We have weekend and overnight shifts available for clients needing assistance with meal prep, personal care, household chores, and protective oversight.

Pay starts at $16/hour. Overnight shifts get $.50 more per hour. Paid weekly. Pay adjusted based on experience/performance at 30 days and annually.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation (clients require assistance and transportation for errands and medical appts)
- Be at least 18 years of age and graduated high school (or GED equivalent)
- Ability communicate in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage a flexible work schedule
- Annual Flu Vaccination Required
Job Purpose Summary:
Assist customers’ by providing:
- personal care (shower assistance, incontinence assistance, dressing)
- mobility assistance
- medication reminders
- meal preparation
- complete household chores, (i.e.; housekeeping, laundry)
- driving customers to appointments or errands.
These services assist our valued customers’ to stay as independent as possible in their own home or care facility.
