Caregiver

Nightingales Home Care is looking for compassionate, empathetic caregivers to help our aging community in their homes and at facilities. We provide high quality, non-medical and assisted living services.

We have weekend and overnight shifts available for clients needing assistance with meal prep, personal care, household chores, and protective oversight.

Pay starts at $16/hour. Overnight shifts get $.50 more per hour. Paid weekly. Pay adjusted based on experience/performance at 30 days and annually.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation (clients require assistance and transportation for errands and medical appts)
• Be at least 18 years of age and graduated high school (or GED equivalent)
• Ability communicate in a professional and courteous manner
• Manage a flexible work schedule
• Annual Flu Vaccination Required

Job Purpose Summary:

Assist customers’ by providing:

• personal care (shower assistance, incontinence assistance, dressing)
• mobility assistance
• medication reminders
• meal preparation
• complete household chores, (i.e.; housekeeping, laundry)
• driving customers to appointments or errands.

These services assist our valued customers’ to stay as independent as possible in their own home or care facility.
