Job Summary
Comfort Keepers is opening up a new territory in Southern Idaho. We are looking for Non Medical Caregivers in the Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Kuna, Middleton, and N. Meridian areas. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, empathetic, and reliable. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for Clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
We have a range of hours, and offer flexible schedules.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist Clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions or behaviors to the Admin staff.
- Uphold Client rights by treating each individual with dignity and respect.
- Engage Client in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in living areas to promote a comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility challenges safely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Have current and valid Drivers License, vehicle insurance and registration.
