Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. The Transport Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including buses, vans, and shuttles, ensuring a comfortable and secure experience for all passengers.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles such as buses, vans, or shuttles for passenger transport.
- Provide timely transportation services while adhering to scheduled routes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Manage passenger luggage and belongings, including heavy lifting as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to trips, including logs and incident reports.
Experience
- Previous experience in bus driving, van driving, or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus.
- Proven track record in customer service roles is highly desirable.
- Experience in delivery driving or limousine services is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for passenger assistance or luggage handling.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
