What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM Operations Supervisor position at Comfort Suites-Cottage Grove?
The Comfort Suites in Cottage Grove, WI is currently accepting applications and resumes for an Operations Manager. Ideal candidates will have previous hospitality experience, preferably in a management/leadership role, Choice software experience, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as business demands.
Job Summary: To assist the General Manager and members of the leadership team with the overall operation, supervision and development of staff and overall training at the hotel along with the motivating hotel employees in order create and offer a superior hotel product for guests and employees to enjoy. Ensure that the hotel is following all required brand standards.
Some responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Daily responsibilities include: Daily deposits; Daily audit summary; Change orders; Purchasing;
- Review and follow up of any guest and/or employee incidents in General Manager’s absence;
- Review and follow up of any guest complaints including responding to any guest complaints (i.e. apology letters, follow up telephone call, etc.) communicated to the brand’s directly;
- Monitoring and working with housekeeping; supervising front desk staff and monitoring reservation pick up and rate strategies in order to maximize revenues,
- Monthly responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting with month end procedures and any other action items as identified and required by the S&L Hospitality accounting team;
- Alternate “On Call” weekends with General Manager or participate in Manager on Duty program, if applicable,
- Focus on achieving all guest satisfaction and/or customer service goals as well as any quality of product goals as required by the brand and/or S & L Hospitality. Assist with teaching and training of staff to use basic guest resolution techniques and skills. Review brand satisfaction surveys, scores, etc.
